Two judge and Scorekeepers seminars remaining before Championships

We only have two Judges and Score Keepers training classes scheduled for March. These will be the last two Judges and Score Keeper training classes before the tournament. The first class is scheduled for Monday, March 3 from 6:15 to 7:30 PM. The second is scheduled for Monday, March 10 from 6:15 to 7:30 PM. The training classes will run in conjunction with the adult open classes.

All adult TSKA Elite Team Members, TSKA Boosters, interested parents and adult students are strongly encouraged to attend any of the training classes for Tournament Judges and Score Keepers. These special classes have been specifically designed to teach all interested Judges and Score Keepers the Traditional Karate tournament format and scoring criteria.

If you volunteered as table help at last year tournament we will definitely need your help again this year. Even if you attended last years training class I would still encourage you to attending at least one of this years training classes. It would be good refresher for you and we have made a few minor changes to this years tournament format. We are going to need as many qualified judges and trained scorekeepers as possible in order to ensure that our 2008 Traditional Karate Championships will be a success.
